Picture Day Supervisors manage the picture day logistics while the School Photographers and Photography Assistants work together to capture that perfect picture. These positions are seasonal, but many of our hires come back season after season because they love the work and environment!
PICTURE DAY SUPERVISOR
Primary Responsibilities
- Managing the flow of students and necessary paperwork for each Picture Day
- Transporting equipment in one of our company vehicles
- Maintaining a positive environment at the school
- Handling the logistics of the picture day, including proper time and employee management
- Proper communication with teachers, students and office staff
Necessary Qualifications
- Full-Time Availability, Mon-Fri, during the season
- Clean DMV Record
- Background Check Required
- Completion of the Sumner PDS Training Program
- Experience with Tablets, Computers
- Experience working with kids or in Photography is not required, but helps!
SCHOOL PHOTOGRAPHER
Primary Responsibilities
- Setting up and breaking down camera equipment
- Checking the appearance of students and capturing the Perfect Picture
- Operating our camera and laptop system
- Getting great expressions!
Necessary Qualifications
- Availability Mon-Fri during our season
- Must have own reliable transportation
- Some Photography Experience necessary, but we will train beginners!
- Completion of the Sumner Student Photographer Training Program
- Background Check Required
- Experience with Tablets, Computers
- Experience with kids is not required, but helps!
PHOTOGRAPHY ASSISTANT
Primary Responsibilities
- Checking the appearance of students, including combing hair and straightening clothes
- Working with our photographers to get that Perfect Picture!
- Positioning students in the correct poses
- Maintaining an orderly and quiet room
- Setting up and breaking down camera equipment
Necessary Qualifications
- Availability Mon-Fri during our season
- Must have own reliable transportation
- Background Check Required
- Completion of the Sumner Photography Assistant Training Program
- Experience with kids is not required, but helps!
